Ahh, the winter shrug is back. I got through almost a year with only a few winter “cover-up” posts (here and here), but I couldn’t resist just one more for the winter season, because there are always more winter furs (and in today’s case a pretty knitted number – sixth photo) to choose from!
While I tend to prefer furs over other jackets, caplets, shawls etc. I don’t mind the fur color and style choices. But (and there is always a but), that doesn’t mean any shrug works for any bride..The key is to pick the right color for your skin (let’s face it, without spray tan we’re all a bit pale come the winter solstice), choosing a color that will look good with your groom, maids and palette choices, and finally, just pick a style for no other reason than you simply adore it.
Today I wanted an assortment of eye candy and inspiration and while you may not love all of these, I promise there is a little something for everyone… So with a long sleeve look (second, forth, and eighth photos) or the traditional capelet (tenth photo), knit and very vintage (sixth photo), or a bit more trendy (fifth photo) you can do a lot with the shrug for any winter affair!
