We are long overdue for some accessory inspiration and for May, I couldn’t think of anything better than the floral crown {or halo}…
Historically, we may not see it as often as, say, the traditional veil or even the birdcage veil but that’s what makes it even more special! Perfect for a Spring wedding, an outdoor affair, or better yet, a garden ceremony, a floral crown can serve as that rustic, earthy, elegant or just unique accessory that you {the bride} or maybe even the flower girl (sixth photo below) can pull off magically!
Happy Tuesday lovelies! We found such a wonderful outdoor affair today by Matt Andrews Photography that I’m so excited to share! Set at a private home in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the bride {Shannon} walked down the aisle to the groom {Shane} singing a Brighteyes song. As if this isn’t enough {we know that it is…}, the groom’s father is songwriter Gary Baker, so the rehearsal dinner music was amazing with several special guests! But my favorite detail? Those bouquets… what a way to end April in style!

Feeling as though summer is just around the corner {seriously, where is Spring in the meantime}, I wanted something outdoor and very full of the summer spirit and we found just that from this lovely outdoor wedding by Karen Seifert Photography. It’s the details that I can’t stop thinking about… those bouquet with pops of yellow, the fabulous drink bar – definitely one of my personal favorites, simple and sweet, the vintage yellow and charcoal grey palette… way too popular these days but super cool in this wedding, and a barnyard ceremony? This wedding simply has it all!
We made it to the weekend! And we’re going out in style with this gorgeous, {vintage} wedding by Jessica for The Collection. Held at the Historic Cedarwood in Nashville, Tennessee, the bride, Sophia, chose beautiful vintage details to make the day special. The colors were inspired by a peacock feather creating a lovely mix of purples, blues and greens; lots of pretty for an April Friday!

Spring is in the air which means it’s perfect timing for a lovely outdoor Georgia wedding, captured beautifully by Callie Beale Photography. My favorite thing about Carrie and Austin’s wedding is definitely the pale mint bridesmaids dresses! It’s without a doubt my favorite color this spring, and it’s popping up all over… so Carrie was clearly ahead of the trend with this one! After that it’s a little mix of everything, the cowboy boots, the outdoor ceremony, the simple flower choices, and the overall ambiance.. it all screams perfectly Spring!
