Navy + Berry July 4th

Yesterday we kept it very traditional with our Independence Day inspiration so today we’re taking a new spin on the normal reds and blues with berry and navy! If you’re getting married this weekend (and trust me, a lot of you are!!) and you want to do something a little patriotic but nothing overkill, then maybe a variation of the traditional colors are just what you’re looking for…

Blissfully Blue

When in doubt I always go back to one of my very favorite wedding palettes – the always classic blue-grey. Soft, airy, pretty but not too feminine and perfect for every season this color scheme can be used for an elegant, rustic, outdoor, indoor, anywhere really wedding. Some of my favorites for today…

Pale Pink + Baby Blue Wedding Bliss

Call it a little dollhouse-esque but I still kinda like it… initial thoughts?? It’s very pale pink and baby blue, erring on the side of baby nursery but for a Spring wedding with the right {elegant} details it can create a perfect palette. And if you’re not into both colors combined they are obviously also both popular {and pretty} choices…separately. But back to the original idea… the point is that combining colors that maybe make you think of something else and not ones that you would normally put together for a wedding palette can work. And if it’s not your cup of tea for a wedding… how about bridal shower??

Something {Powder} Blue

Another winter Monday rolls around and I don’t know about you but I’m thinking Spring. One of my always favorite wedding palettes is powder blue and while it can work for any season, it’s simply perfect for Spring. It’s not so traditional that it’s boring, and it’s a stunning blend of winter transition without going summer overload. So just a few of my favorite powder blue ideas…and trust me, if you look hard enough there are too many to chose from!
