Though you may still be in 2012 mode, for a summer beach bride, it’s time to start thinking about 2013, and if you haven’t already, then you better start thinking about saying yes to the dress.. that is, the beach wedding dress!

Since we have a year to go, it seems like the perfect time for beach inspired wedding dress ideas for our beach brides-to-be! I tend to swoon over the same designers when it comes to this type of dress: flowing, ethereal, with lots of chiffon – the exact things that I think of for a beach wedding! These dresses are a mix of designers and styles, but the trend is very light, summery, and of course beachy! If you don’t love these styles I assure you that there are so many other gowns by this group of designers that you will not be disappointed. To the Beach (Table Setting Ideas)

Well, although you may not want to admit it, the summer season at the beach is winding down. Ladies, there are only three more official beach weekends left (and maybe a few unofficially after that) so get your thrills in now because soon, it’s time to start planning for your summer 2013 wedding…. at the beach obviously!

So for some current inspiration and future planning, today, we’re heading to the water again for more beach wedding inspiration (although this time I couldn’t help but throw in some pier table inspiration as well). Anyway, I’m getting ahead of myself now; the point of today is all about the beach table setting! We haven’t really done a full beach table setting post yet, so here it is. There won’t be another until next summer, so hopefully with these incredibly beautiful and inspiring beach wedding tables, you get a few ideas to plan your own beach wedding for when next summer rolls around.

Attention brides-to-be… for a lake, shore, beach, or island wedding, today we want to inspire via photography and there’s nothing better than a picture (or a few) on a boat after your romantic, on the water, ceremony.

With all the planning that goes into your wedding, I always find myself surprised at the lack of control over the photos being taken on your big day. You’re probably thinking to yourself “no not me” but I promise you, between your hair and makeup, the vows, the kiss, and the hype, the last thing you’re thinking of is how your photographer can snap the absolute best pictures for you to have forever. That’s their job right? Nope, not really. It’s your job! They’re your pictures, and you are the bride!

So in between picking your father-daughter dance, choosing a hairstyle and “wow” lipstick color (I know you’ve probably already done all three), choose a few essential photo ops for your pictures that you MUST HAVE and make sure your fabulous photographer knows what they are! And most importantly, if you are anywhere near a body of water, you best pick a few pictures on/with/around a boat! Because these are unforgettable!

Before we know it summer will be over and weekends at the beach will be coming to an end, but not before we cover ever beach related wedding must-know (or have) here on One to Wed! Check out our ideas for beach wedding ceremonies if you haven’t already planned yours, but if your ceremony and reception are already booked and you’re working on the final details, then it’s time to start thinking about favors!

No wedding should go without a small favor to leave your guests remembering your special day and there are so many fun, easy, and budget friendly favors that you can buy or make yourself! Today, it’s all about the beach wedding favors for those weddings in the hot summer months! For inspiration… sea shell tea light candles, little pails of chocolate covered raisins, nuts or anything else, beach-themed wine toppers, mini-shell chocolate treats (easy to make yourself), or messages in a bottle!
